havin' an argument (err discussion) with a client it seems he cant understand what "exclusive" and "non exclusive" means. as i understands it when you sell "exclusive" sets, you'll never resell the same set again BUT you can re-shoot the model on a different set right?

that is the difference, I thought anyway... He thinks u cannot make new shoot, it would require new documentation, therefore, diffrentiating between whether you tried to shoot similar a thousand times, but i will stand corrected if wrong....

You are correct. Unless the model/performer is under an exclusive contract, then they may do other exclusive or non-exclusive projects.

You are right but shooting the same model in the same environment and sell the sets as non-exclusive later on would also make me feel "cheated".

Of course. But if you shoot the same model (even the same niche) but different costumes/environment i think and hope buyers will never felt cheated :thumbsup and besides we only sell on exclusive terms. see sig :)
