one of my biker buddies hooked me up with a pass to CES thats good for the whole week.

I'm gonna go check out all the cool shit tomorrow. Pretty excited because I've been wanting to go to this for years :winkwink:

I've always got a free exhibits pass but never ended up going.

If it's like other shows, if you are wearing his badge with holder like he already went in you should be fine as it's unlikely they will recheck ID.

If it is in your name and you have to pickup your actual badge or holder you will probably need ID and supposedly a business card or company letterhead saying you are in the Industry but half the time they are so busy or staffed with 80 year olds you can finagle your way in somehow.

worth a try anyhow!

oh this is what they say "officially" on badges...

What type of identification will I need to pick up a badge and/or badge holder?

Due to tightened security, you will need to bring two forms of identification to pick up your badge holder, badge or to register on-site:

* One personal picture ID such as a driver's license or passport,
* One business ID such as a business card, pay stub or statement on company letterhead indicating that you are representing that company at International CES.

Yep I've already got a badge... and a new name :)
