madawgz 01-08-2007 02:44 AM

lock it in a titanium case and handcuff that to the bed

BusterBunny 01-08-2007 02:45 AM

go door to door and kill everyone.....

PersianKitty 01-08-2007 02:46 AM

Every room in Vegas I've ever stayed in had a safe in it.

Never locked up the laptop tho..just other stuff.

I use one of these... http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PA410U

It would still be pretty easy to steal it, but it's better than nothing.

I usually dont worry about the laptop, seems like they are a dime a dozen now.:2 cents: watch it get it stolen now:helpme

WiredGuy 01-08-2007 03:58 AM

You're being paranoid in my opinion. Keep cash and passports in the safe, everything else just keep hidden in your luggage or out of plain site. Otherwise, make sure you're in the room when maid service is there or just decline maid service entirely.

I have never worried about my laptop, I almost always leave it running on the little desk in my room, but i always decline maid service

JimmiDean 01-08-2007 04:29 AM

I always decline the maid service if I am only there a few days.

uno 01-08-2007 04:33 AM

I've never had anything stolen from a reputable hotel in vegas.

VicD 01-08-2007 05:06 AM

download beer league to laptop, watch it in room on laptop

Kassidy 01-08-2007 09:14 AM

I've never had a problem before with leaving anything in a Vegas hotel room. If you feel the need, lock it into your luggage when you leave the room.

Pete-KT 01-08-2007 09:36 AM

Weve never had a problem at a vegas hotel, unless your staying at some small place

usually if I bring one I keep it in my suitcase locked up or briefcash - I trust room staff to a point - but as long as you hide it inside your cloths suitbase with a lock, your fine

interracialtoons 01-08-2007 10:30 AM

I decline maid service.

If I have a car I lock the laptop in the trunk when I leave the room.
But not in New York city...putting it in the trunk is like putting it on the curb there.

Pinacolada 01-08-2007 10:55 AM

Nobody will stole your laptop in Vegas !!!
but somewhere else I'm not sure

Ross 01-08-2007 11:03 AM

Never had a problem leaving my laptop in any hotel room I've ever stayed in. I know shit like this happens in places but I highly doubt it will happen in the big hotels in Vegas.
