how fat is your internet connection?
Just trying to get the update on how do people use internet nowadays?
How big is your internet connection at work or home, whatever, give me the numbers please. Do you use DSL2+? Its 4mbps down and 512kbps up here. Some companies offer 15mbps down and 1mbps up with DSL2+ technology for about $40/month, with no bandwidth restrictions, but I find it useless. s'how about yourself? |
2 down 1 up right now
|
360 pounds....how about yours?
|
ps those are real tests not actual isp quote numbers
|

hmm not sure that test is very accurate i tried one of my non-wireless computer on the closest connection and i got 1300 down 1000 up on my wireless i got almost twice the download speed , it should be the other way around
so then i try the new york connection ( furthest ) on wireless i get 2000 down 1000 up , and on wired i get 6000 down 1000 up.. |

SmokeytheBear, you know I had a problem with wireless the other day. Been trying to figure it out and found that my wifi network interfers with my neighbour's.. Ended up switching the channel on my router. That fixed the problem.

10 down, 1 up, when it's working. I have charter cable though and it sucks BIG TIME. Goes down at least once a week or so, sometimes for full days. And they don't care because they know I cant switch since there's nothing else in the area.
