Traficant Expulsion:
 

The vote to expel Traficant was over whelming.

While I, have strong feelings about his guilt, I do not think that he should have been expelled until is legal rights had been expended.

He is appealing his case, and is requesting a new trial.

While I personally doubt that his appeals will be successful, I will repeat, he should not have been expelled, until his legal rights had been expended.

There is precedent for having delayed the expulsion, but he was an unpopular member of congress, thus the sheep fell in line with the vote.

I wonder how it feels when your only supporter is Gary Conditt. LOL

Traficant is awesome! I hope he gets elected from prison; if this is still possible. Traficant is a true politician and it is a shame he was expelled ...

My tentative opinion is he probably should have been kicked out perhaps for just being so crazy, but maybe Bush should pardon him so he doesn't have to go to jail.

I just don't like that he was charged and convicted of taking kickbacks from his own employees. That's a dirt bag thing to do.

I don't get it, Of all the things in the world to be outraged about this is what you pick? The guy was an embarrassment to American politics, and considering the state of American politics that's really saying something.
