92 percent of Egyptians see Israel as an enemy nation, over 50 percent view Denmark, US in same light. Only 2 percent call Israel friendly nation despite longstanding peace

It's been 27 years since the Camp David accords were signed, but the vast majority of Egyptians still see Israel as an enemy state. A poll conducted by an Egyptian state institute determined that Israel and Denmark were not only the least poplar foreign countries among the Egyptian public, but that they were also considered enemy nations.



The poll, made public on Wednesday, showed that 92 percent of respondents see Israel as an enemy ? despite the lasting peace agreement between the two countries. Only two percent believe that Israel is "a friend to Egypt."




But Israel shouldn't feel lonely on the enemy shelf ? 60 percent of respondents say that Denmark is an enemy of the Egyptian Republic. A view which likely stems from Muslim rage over the publication of caricatures of the prophet Muhammad Danish daily 'Jyllands-Posten' last year. 90 percent of Egypt's population is Muslim. Coming in third on the most-hated list is the United States, 50 percent of respondents said they saw America as an enemy of Egypt.



And which countries have been crowned as 'friends' of Egypt? The list is topped by Saudi Arabia, Libya, the Palestinian Authority, Sudan and Syria.



The poll was composed of the replies of 1,000 Egyptian adults (over 18 years of age).

Scary part is, these are most likely the higher educated muslims who could read the poll.:1orglaugh

The true story about the Muhammed toons is that muslim priests travel around the Middle East and showed drawings that were much much worse than the ones printed in the Danish paper with one purpose and that was to stir up shit.

The drawings were printed in September all the problems and riots started in January after they had travelled around the Middle East.

Thats pretty much what he said. He forgot the part about Ahmed Akkari (the main moron in charge of showing the fake cartoons and claiming it was the real ones) hid himself in a danish flag as he boarded the ship that took him back to Denmark.

Please not that I did NOT say "back home to Denmark", even though Ahmed Akkari first became "famous" at age 15 by claiming he would leave his family if they wanted to go back to lebanon, he wanted to stay in Denmark.

He is no longer considered a Dane, especially since he also made threats about wanting to kill Naser Khader, an immigrant politician, if he ever made it to the rank of minister.

In short, Ahmed Akkari was responsible for stirring up virtually all of that shit, then he hid in the Danish flag as he returned to Denmark where he proceeded to make death threats.

Jyllandsposten asked around 20 cartoonists how they viewed Mohammed and brought the 12 'funniest', as per tradition. Jyllandsposten does that every year as a combination of satire and demonstration of freedom of speech. Its a tradition and most religions have been bashed, along with tons of other groups. These babies are the first ones to cause such a havok about it.

Fact of the matter, however, is that nobody really cared about *THOSE* cartoons. The cartoons that caused the shitstorm was cartoons made for Ahmed Akkari that he then traveled the middle east with, CLAIMING it was the ones brought in Jyllandsposten, which was a bit fat lie.

Those cartoons weren't funny, not one tiny bit, and only drawn to piss off muslims as much as possible. They were very well made (for that purpose), probably because they were made by muslims.

All the boycots, all the whining, all the deathtreats and all the embassy burnings were caused by the FAKE pictures.
