 Norton rules!
The funniest shit is that while I was reading this message thread norton actually poped a small yellow window and told me that all my virus definitions were now up to date. Gotta love auto update. |

you can lay your head on my bosom and everything will be ok, k?

 I use McAfee's VirusScan Professional 6.0 which also has a built-in personal firewall as well....works great! :)

That sucks... All viruses I had didn't infect the files permanently. They could be cleaned every easily fortunately :thumbsup

Yeah, Norton Antivirus rocks ! In addition to that, I'd say to add a firewall too... I use Zone Alarm Pro, it has pop-ups disabled function and much more.
Just my :2 cents: :Graucho |

 I use Norton's + Netscape Mail and haven't had a virus yet......

 or u could be smart
and not download / open antying retarded |

if you really want your data back, you could go to download.com and do a search on GetDataBack. It retrieved all my data when a virus wiped all the partitions on my hardrive.

You know what's fucked up... I had Norton on, Zone Alarm Pro on, & I have a firewall on my wireless router. How the Weird32 got into my files and started replicating I will never know. I stopped it by running an Housecall Online Virus Check.

If you want to avoid Viruses, do not use a Microsoft email program. Really.
http://www.eudora.com If you really want to avoid them, do not use a Microsoft operating system. Works like a charm. http://www.apple.com If you really, really don't want to get viruses, don't use Office. That covers 99.99% of viruses. Probably more. |
