Serious Golden Tee Addicts, most unique machine you will ever see !!
This is the type of home arcade version of Golden Tee for the person that has everything and only the best will do - I bought it years ago when I still had money rolling out of my ass :pimp
Check out the pictures I have up at http://www.ryanlanane.com/goldentee/ If you have seen the ones at the bar, they PALE in comparison to this one. The cabinet is one of only two I have ever seen in my life. I just spent 3 hours searching the web to see if any companies sold cabinets similar to this one and I could not find one anywhere. Never worry about putting your hand through the screen again :thumbsup P.S. This would be an AWESOME gift for a program owner to give away in a contest !!!! |
you are selling it?

WHAT IS it ? video game? i never played golden tea
|
ive seen one even nicer than that, same concept but it didnt look like someone built it. those are way better because i go crazy on the drive, and your hand always hits the screen.

Yes, I'm selling it Scream ..
Webair, it is THE golf arcade game and has been for years. It is mainly played in the bars, has a huge fan base with many players who pump $20-$30 daily into these machines. You can win prizes, they have national contest, the thing is huge ... I'm suprised you haven't heard of it with all the Vegas conventions I'm sure you have been to that arcade place out there - I am sure they have it, think the place is called Game Works. Beemk, what was that one like? I'd be interested in seeing one that tops that. The only place I have seen anything else that topped the one I have is at the contests they have where they have them wired so the audience can see what's going on with the huge 60 - 150 inch overhead screens which is awesome. BTW, those interested yes you can (with an adapter) hook this up so it would show not just on the screen that is built in but also on a big screen TV at the same time ... For example, you could hook up a huge plasma screen hanging over the Machine if you had GT parties at your house |
it was actually exactly like yours except the cabinet and tv looked original, they should play the exact same only yours looks like you built the cabinet yourself. ive probably played on 100 different machines at various bars over the years and ive only seen it once. how much are you selling yours for?

Beem, I haven't set a firm price ... It cost me $6,000.00 few years back but I obviously don't expect to get more than 50% of what I paid for it back .. I'm considering all offers and will take into consideration some other factors such as the shipping costs it would cost the buyer.
You would want to pay the $600 for the upgrade kit which would allow you to play every GT Fore course ever released. You don't have to but I would highly suggest it. If you want more info on that here is a Golden Tee Complete machine information page that will show you all the courses etc. The version I have has a total of I think 7 courses. The two beginners, the three advanced, and then the other two you can play when you go on-line that are also advanced courses. http://www.goldenteecomplete.com/goldenteecomplete.htm I didn't build the cabinet myself, it was built by some company out of Schaumberg, IL - can't even remember the name it was so many years ago. This was never used in my bar though ... So it doesn't have the smoked out or beer spilled smell to it at all. The cabinet is built solid, it was not a cheap throw it together job by any means. For anyone interested I can take higher resolution and more up close pictures of anything they want to see, including with the screen on. |
DId you know that they have an actual addiction counselling for golden tee? I'm fucking serious! I saw it in the local paper once. I had no clue there wer epeople sickly addicted to this game, who pump entire paychecks into it like a fucking vlt! at leats there's a chance of winning on the video lotteries!

The largest wager ever made by me personally was on the front nine of Pine Meadows. I had to get -12 to win $1,000.00 ... -11 was a tie and -10 I lost $500 ... -9 or worse I lost $1250.00 I won the grand !! :) I remember sweating bullets on the 36 foot putt I had to sink to get my twelve under. I even ended up in the water once but made it up by hitting a hole in won. |
One last bump :)
