Unusual Day:

Yesterday was an unusual day. In the AM a construction crew cut a fiber optic cable, so my internet connection was down for several hours.

A few hours later a different construction crew's crane operator downed a power line, which in turn started a brush fire.

The electricity was off for five, or more hours. The fire was only a couple of miles from my home, so tankers and helicopters were flying over head trying to contain the fire. The fire was threatening a shopping mall and the college, but it was contained before it reached them. The electricity came back on around 10:00 PM.

I will repeat; I am, and always have been, a supporter of Israel since the UN partition.

I do not like the tactics that the Israeli government has been using, because, in my considered opinion, I think the tactics only exacerbate the problem.

Because I do not like the tactics does not mean that I am anti Israel.

I have my opinions, others have different opinions.

In answer to your question; no. I think you may have me confused with Massivecock.

I believe this is Bush's fault and is some part of his diabolical plan to get an oil pipeline built in Afghanistan.

As to Massivecock:

He seems to be MIA today. Has someone conspired to...

Massivecock, if you have survived the conspiracy to do away with you, would you look into this for me?

I think FATPad is onto something.

We had a day a bit like that over Christmas/New Year. Some idiot cut a cable and knocked out the electric to our entire neighbourhood. It was down for nearly 18 hours before they brought generators in. Then it was 5 days on the generators before they got the cable fixed. Fortunately the internet was unaffected.

The blackout was actually quite nice though. We live in a good sized town and rarely see a sky full of stars. It was really beautiful to go out at around 2 am and look up at a sky full of stars and a full moon on a clear winters night.

Shame about the brushfire though. Don't get too many of those here.

Just me rambling inanely.:helpme

FBI "bugging" you!

nice to know you..........

The initial report was a construction crew's crane operator downed a power line, which in turn started the brush fire.

The construction crew is claiming that a squirrel got fried, fell to the ground burning, which in turn started the brush fire.

There were houses destroyed by the fire so the financial loss is rather high.

So the question is: Is the construction crew's story truth or fiction?
