Best RSS plugin for wordpress?

There are a few, cant decide which one to go for. Any recommendations on the best wp plugin to make different feeds into posts in selected wp categories?

I select a feed -> I select a category for that feed to always post -> Done, now it runs itself

Feedwordpress is the best by far. and yeah - you can edit each feed into a different category :)

feedwordpress is good (I use it a few times) but it isn't always great at handling non standard feeds or the worst thing feeds without dates, it puts everything as 1969.

autoblogger going to get turned on later tonight, we'll see how that goes :)

Autobloggerpro is the way to go

i wish i could afford abp.. lol
anyways, does feedwordpress can handle multiple feeds from different sponsors then you can force feed to that specific sponsor? im using rss2anywhere. its cool although updates and forcing feeds in specific category or sponsor is not supported yet..

i was just coming on here to make the same damn post lol. Now i have been using feedwordpress for months now. Today i noticed it can update the feeds automatically. All the options been set to update since i installed but never once see it do that. So here here a bump i wanna know about this myself.

the way you described it here, then yes, you can select the category for each feed and you import each feed in individually and set options for each feed on it's own

why not just download it and try it out? it takes like 3 minutes to install

I'd recommend FeedWordPress for sure. It handles the basics of what you'd want to do to pull RSS. Plus, it's free!

That's not a WP plugin, though, so not really what he's looking for .. might be too powerful/overwhelming. :winkwink:

The best way is to hire a PHP programmer who will write you custom scripts (for example, I do all PHP programming myself) But if you think you can't afford your own programmer, http://projects.radgeek.com/feedwordpress is the way to go. It's a best free WordPress plug-in I know. Personally I don't recommend you to buy any commercial scripts for automatic RSS processing, because even the free ones will be more than enough.

Exactly. There's NOTHING a "commercial" RSS feed puller will do that a free one will NOT. In fact, I'm not even sure why people CHARGE for feed pullers. There are so many free ones, it isn't even funny.

ill try that for sure.. just having a second thought co's i've started rss2anywhere for the blog network just don't want to change routine/plan for it. although if it will help me or if it will make my work a lot easier that would be great..
