AutoGallery SQL probems!
 

I am a web master using the older method of making my own HTML pages in dreamweaver, no scripts. I have purchased Autogallery SQL, in order to make a TGP website a lot quicker than I would doing it the old-fashioned way. The problem is that I somehow can not create anything! Ive installed the program correctly and went over manual for hours and Im completely lost on what this program is supposed to do exactly. Am I still responsible for doing the complete HTML layout in another HTML program? Does this thing only do coding? if so, how do I implement it in a website? I could really use a good tutorial thats more novice friendly. Im really lost and have no support on this side. Any help?!?! :mad:

Your post is not very clear... what exactly are you trying to do with the script?

First you need to add catergories, then you need to manage pages where you write for example index.html and then hit build pages with new and that should bring up the index page, then just add galleries and they will then show up on the index page, after that you then have to edit templates to build the pages as you want them ... hope this helps ...

I am trying to build a TGP website with rotating links and image galleries. For an example, check out:

africanvagina.com

I assume those are TGPs. I would like to make image and text link galleries where I will just have to search/upload sponser content but somehow have it rotating daily or some other time period I choose. I would like to make a TGP instead of a hand crafted gallery that I have to constantly photoshop and upload pictures daily and design HTML pages. Am I still responsible for doing this in my HTML editor? I am currently hand building all of my galleries, no scripts. I know there has to be an easier way!

Im sorry if Im not clear, but Im quite confused on what the program can offer in the first place. Ive read and read, but cant seem to get a clear understanding.

You must create categories, add galleries, etc. as has been said. You must also add a "page" via admin. There you give the path and file name for said page. A default template will be created for every page that you add. It is this template (conveniently linked "edit templates") that you will need to edit with YOUR html. You will also need to add some directives that AGSQL needs to function at the top of your template and where you want galleries displayed.

Calm down, I am also new to this script I bougth it a few days ago and I have already made my first tgp page, simple but this is only beginning of this adventure :D Just read cerfully documentation and you will build yours pages very soon too... It seems to be difficult only on the beginning, there are also some sample teplates included with the script oh and good support :)
