Internet Porn: Worse Than Crack?
 

In which the internet is a perfect drug delivery system because you are anonymous, aroused and have role models. Pornography addicts have a more difficult time recovering from their addiction than cocaine addicts, since coke users can get the drug out of their system, but pornographic images stay in the brain forever.

I kind of pick up this line when I was browsing in the net a while ago. I guess this is overrated...

I think it is an addiction for many.

I know many of you disagree, but searching porn online is a slippery slope. I've seen some good guys fall apart and cut off the world once they got online and started looking at porn. It's sad.

Same here. I worked in IT for many years. I've seen relationships, marriages, and even careers destroyed after repeated private warnings that they were being monitored and shit was hitting the fan. They didn't stop.

Not sure that I would call it an addiction, but don't know what else to call it.

Porn or cocaine, if you have an addictive personality, don't have logic and lack self control than your going to be addicted to something.

Seems to me though that porn is a lot less destructive. Of course there are exceptions to every rule, but generally speaking I think the world will be okay.
