My Dad used to have a car made by BMW called an Isetta when we lived in England. I don't really remember it but he loved that car. The windshield/front is the door.

And no, that's not my Mom and Dad :)

Get into an accident while going 240 km/hr and it might as well be.

BTW your dad's BMW was very commonly known as the Bubble car and was damn popular in the 60s

SPACE GLIDER 01-05-2007 04:03 PM

I wonder how many of those circus clowns could fit in it

WebairGerard 01-05-2007 04:03 PM

who 01-05-2007 04:04 PM

If cars could be affected by down's syndrome, they'd look like that thing.

madawgz 01-05-2007 04:08 PM

id have some fun in that small car :)

L-Pink 01-05-2007 04:09 PM

As flat-sided and narrowed wheel-based as it is I would be leery of cross winds.

Matt_WildCash 01-05-2007 04:13 PM

Nice car and nice idea till you get hit by a SUV or 4x4 and its by by little car person.

Tiny cars like that and the Smart cars are great for overcrowded cities like Paris where its damn near impossible to park anywhere but in normal cities those cars are just death traps.

nikki99 01-05-2007 04:18 PM

ugly ugly

Exactly what I was thinking.. You can feel wind on your steering wheel when driving a normal car, this thing looks like it would flip over if someone farts next to it..

Ah ha, so you would assume. Check out this video, a smart car going 70mph into a 20 ton concrete block, i'd rather be in a smart car than a normal car in a crash like that, possibly even better than an SUV. Although you'd get the worst whiplash ever.

Yeah, the test really shows how it acts in crash, but the legs and back could be hurt anyway..

inthecrack 01-05-2007 05:27 PM

It looks like the picture has been squashed horizontally.

shekinah 01-05-2007 05:30 PM

That is so cute but I prefer a bigger car than that:thumbsup

MandyBlake 01-05-2007 06:00 PM

oh that is too cute.
i don't think my big butt would fit in it though lol.

abz 01-06-2007 03:25 AM

King of Queens 01-06-2007 03:28 AM

It's about 450 kg for only accamulator, and if it weren't so heavy it wouldn't stand on a speed of 200km/h...

Vitasoy 01-06-2007 05:02 AM

That would be too claustrophobic for me
