Is it a WASTE of money to have an Outdated top banner on GFY?
 

Not trying to start drama or bash putting an add on GFY, but today during my normal morning surf of GFY I've had a banner come across the top rotation for AdultAlchemy.com, but the banner says "Kick off the Season" and has a football theme to it, and then it shows bonus payouts for the month of October.

Say a top banner spot is $2500 *I'm using this number as an example, not saying this is the cost* anyways, say it's $2500, you have November, December, and now January, and it's pretty dated. That's $7500 spent on ads for something that is long done. Would it be more productive to have taken that 7500 and used it buying traffic, or spots on GTS or somewhere else?

Not trying to start any drama, but more a discussion...

While it would be better to update they are still getting their name name and brand accross. I know it used to be 2.5k to advertise here years and years ago. Thats not really all that much money. If they get just 1-2 decent sized guys to signup off it they can easily make their money back
