I use to buy this one couples month a go cause when it went to trasfer on computer and edit the image was frozen when it was the time to watch the vids after editing ! have oyu found that problem?

H heard that it was hard to edit HD video because not much is made to handle it yet... but I don't know if thats true

Bought the same camera a few weeks ago myself too. So far very happy with it and the video quality is amazing. Have not tried editing etc. yet so not sure how it is for all that stuff.

Question. For $1000 does it really look and come out on the TV like 1080i? I mean is it like watching HD tv? If so that is some great cam for the price.

Yes it comes out 1080i if you edit it for that, but thats what the camera shoots

btw, what would be perfect place to buy it online. ebay?

1080i just means that there are more lines than standard video, the quality is still dependent on the camera taking the video. The HC3 and HC1 aren't as high as quality as a 3CCD HDV cameras, but they are pretty close, and great for the price.
