All the Generals tell Bush that adding more troops is a bad idea... "Fired"
lol
This guy is the biggest fucking idiot on the planet. All the military in Iraq are saying sending more troops is a bad idea, so what is Dumb Fucking dipshit gonna do? Send more troops and replace the Generals... What a fucking idiot, he is seriously trying to start a fucking World War, I swear to god, he's a lunatic. |
Bush= Idiot
|
Well, not sure where you got that info, but lots of high ranking generals have said it was necessary . . . . seem to recall that at least one lost his job as a result of that

yeah., and in 2008 Jeb Bush is running for prez.. :(

You acted like Bush fired generals because they spoke against increasing the troops. You gave the impression that you thought this sucked, so I "presumed" that you felt that increasing troops was a bad idea . . . even if the prior head of the US Army, Gen Shinseki stated otherwise. I think this would qualify as military analysis. |

If you want my analysis, which would be a Politicial analysis, not a Military one, it is this: Top Generals are telling Bush putting more troops in Iraq is not the correct thing to do. Democrats just took over Congress, and announced that they have a plan to get troops out of Iraq. Bush wants to add more troops. Therefore, in order to make it so he can add more troops, he is replacing those who might favor the Democrats' plan, so he can have what are referred to as "Yes Men", so he has more leverage for his plan to add more troops. |

See, what you forget, is that the head of the US Army told him he needed more troops long ago. He didn't want to do it. Now, he is seeing that maybe they were right. This war sucks. Jr did not know how to kick ass. Now the people there are fucked, and we are fucked . . . but just leaving is not the way to do it. At least, that is what he is probably being told. |
BTW, there are many 'top generals" as you like to call them . . . they don't all agree.

GWB is correct. We do need more troops in Iraq.
If we are going to fight a war, let's fight to win!! That was a major lesson of Vietnam. Have we learned anything? The Defeatocrats are trying to force Bush into another humiliating Vietnam. :mad: |

Here's a hint for everyone: If you ever find yourself agreeing with baddog about a political issue, or hell just about anything for that matter, it's a pretty good indicator that you're dead wrong and need to switch course. :thumbsup |

Emotional responses aside, we cannot leave Iraq, and everyone with half a brain knows this. I'll be back later after training, I enjoy debates that are based on emotional triggers. |

The fact is this. If we left Iraq right now the situation would be far more fucked. You need to read up on your history and current events before you say we need to pull out. If you are going to respond, please tell us why we should pull out and what positive effects it will have in the Middle East, the United States and the rest of the world. On a lighter note, It sure is stormy here in Seattle. ;) |

I don't actually live in Seattle, I live in Sequim, we're in the Rain Shadow so it was nice and sunny today. Was windy though, same yesterday, worked out in the yard all day. |
