How Do TGP Sites Make Money?

This is my first post here, and I want to say hello to everyone!

Now to the question...

How do TGP sites even make ANY money? From a newbie standpoint, it appears that the hosting/bandwidth costs exceed any benefit or profits generated from a TGP site.

I am a complete outsider that has had a recent encounter with the adult websites/affiliates market. I am considering getting involved. I just want to learn a bit more before I jump in.

Thank you very much in advance! :D

Hey there welcome..

Well as far as I know TGPs get's loads of traffic. With a few thousand uniques a day, odds are at least one or two will buy something:)

Why wait. In this buisness it's leaning by doing in this industry.

Start by buying some webspace. At Servage.net you'll get what you need. 7.5$ a month, will buy you more than enough space and bandwidth. Plus they will Give you one free domain when you sign up with them.

Now find an affiliate progam. Choose your favorite porn Niche. I started out promoting webcams at Cams.com . I din't know anything about it, just opened a free website with lot's of webcam content. It looked like crap the first month or so, but I learned, and made it look great in a few months. Just six months later, I was making a very nice amount of money every month.

Next step: Fill your new webpage with your content, and make it look a bit pretty. I't won't be easy at first but you'll get the hang of it. Look at other sites for inspiration, but don't steal. Won't make you very popular:)

Three easy steps and your on your way. Now use the next couple of months making your site better and promote it to get some traffic. It takes alot of work and alot of learning the hard way, but you just gotta jump in to it and make the same mistakes as the rest of us made when we started up:)

ICQ me if you need some help:) :348-061-510
Good luck:)

There are a number of ways to make money with a TGP. The key is traffic and not just any old traffic. Targeted, high quality, SE traffic and some well thought out traffic trades with other TGPs can make all the difference.

Build a quality TGP with a pleasing design, load it with content that you know your surfers will enjoy (click on), make some good traffic trades and they will cum. Both surfers and sales.

Hosting and bandwidth are a non-factor unless you're a Whale. As was said earlier, $10 a month will get you enough to get started.

u know...i make almost all of my money from programs that do not require a user to sign up. Instead I get paid per click and per email address.

Here is a link for you to check out to avnads so you get paid per click and you can sell advertising space:

Here is the link to cecash so you can get paid when someone puts in their email address:

To see all of the sponsors I make money with, click the bottom link in my signature.

Best of luck and Welcome :pimp !!!

they sell submit passes/partner accounts to webmasters.
they sell traffic to trafficbrokers like trafficholder, trafficadept, choker,...
they send traffic to their own galleries/FHGs.
they sell banner spots/ad spots.
etc etc

promoting webmaster services on the submit and partner pages are another good source of income

E.Kant 01-06-2007 06:32 AM

Well, thanks for all of the replies. I appreciate this. I noticed all of the ref codes, so I'm not a complete idiot. Besides, if I do sign up for some of these programs, I might as well help SOMEONE out..right?

Anyway, thanks again. This is a great board!
