When was the last time you turned off your cell phone?
 

On the airplane doesn't count. I personally haven't turned mine off since i got it (with the exception of plane rides of course). I know a few people who say they turns theirs off every night. Others say never. A cell phone could literally stay on for years. It's crazy how these things are built. How often do you turn yours off?

Mine is never off

Apart from the frequent plane trips.. pretty much never.

I never turn mine off. Never want to miss a call from a drunk friend from jail in the middle of the night.

I could tell you how many times I have turned it on instead of off, since off is default for me.

I rarely use my cell. Consider yourself lucky if I answer my cell or even check it for text messages.

I hate cell phones. My cell phone is perpetually off (and normally its battery is dead too....oops).

never not even on the plane i just turn the radio off on the plane but it stays on

Two hours ago. The battery just ran out.

It's amazing...back in '97, I had a home number and a pager, and I got every message.
Today, I got A bus. line, a fax line, 2 cell numbers,(all with caller ID , voice mail, 3 way, answering machines, ect.) a pda, and at least 5 email addresses that I use frequently, and contact forms on all my websites, and people still say:"I tried to contact you."

I never turn it off. I have at least 7 ways to contact me 24/7, most of them are on my body. and I'm not that important!

Every night when I go to bed.

i switched it off over 4 years ago and never bothered to switch it back on
i figured i got by for the majority of my life without a mobile phone so can do it for the rest

When I am with my girlfriend.

I keep it on 24/7/365

3 days ago, people have tedancies to text me at bizarre times and I needed to sleep. God damn friends =_=

I turn mine off everynight when I go to sleep. :)

my battery died new years eve.... but other then that its never off.. on silent if need be

off is default for me. But then again, i have a life.

i switch it on when i'm ready to take calls - otherwise it's off. can be off for days sometimes. i refuse to be available 24/7

after my contract with my service provider ran out half a year ago i never bothered getting a new one....doing fine with just a landline

I turned mine off 2 years ago and have never turned it back on.
Land line only for me, until such time as there is no more land lines

I rarely have mine on, then again, I work from home and my wife stays at home, so we just use our normal phone line. Even when I do go out, I only turn it on when I have to call someone.

at the movies, comedy shows, concerts, plays, etc. I think its extremely rude for people to leave it on, even if it's on vibrate, some of those things are more powerful than a sybian and in the middle of a movie, etc, everyone can still ehar it buzzing. I won't even mention the people who have the balls to answer the damn thing and start talking in the middle of the movie!!

Only when I'm on a plane, other than that I'll put it on slient when I do not want to be distrubed.

I don't have a cell phone. Just not a necessity for me.

I turn mine off when the battery is going dead and it decides to beep every 2 minutes to tell me it's dying, butI dont have my charger near by. I figure I'll turn it off, save the annoyance until I can charget it, and thereby save the battery in case I need it between now and then.

I got a blackberry 8100 and it auto sleeps from midnight till 5 am

So long ago I don't even remember when or why.

i also turn it off every night when i go to bed.... why you wanna be called when youre asleep? i dont understand that. You can see missed calls in the morning for christ sake! At least for me, nothing is more important then my fucking sleep.

Mine is off only when become mad(when it block like it has windows installed)
Maybe is on all the time but that doesnt mean i always turn on it when someone call.
