Are there any porn laws in Costa Rica I should know about before I shoot there?
 

I'm leaving for Costa Rica at the end of this month and plan on shooting at least one video. Other than the standard US 2257 documents, does Costa Rica have any addtional pornography rules/regulations/laws that I should know about? :thumbsup

No great problems... just be a good boy and make sure the models are over 18 (it's a big no-no here if there is any suggestion of under age - and a 16 year jail term).

The reference to "muggings and stabbings" is an overstatement. There is crime around San Jose, but mainly petty theft (and no more serious crime than elsewhere). Tip - stay out of San Jose - it's a dump.

Otherwise the people are very friendly and willing to genuinely help if shit hits the fan.

Law enforcement don't care if you are shooting porn, but don't give em a clue else they'll want to watch the shoot! :1orglaugh
