How many surfers do you think are viewing the webmasters message boards?

I'm sure there is a few curious surfers that hang around webmaster boards but my guess would be that 99.9% of the surfers out there don't give a flying fack.

So what are all those uniques, all webmasters looking for free content for TGP galleries and why do I get sign ups from the content stores?

I just realised what you said. Your ratios are higher than a lot of traffic sources. As an industry over all we convert at around 1-1000. Which is proof 99.9% of surfers don't give a flying fuck about what we do.

Is that the surfers fault or ours?

I think probably more are outsourced.They know the advantages of contests and sigs/exposure.I don't see what a surfer would find interesting other than the occasional set of the newest models posted or some TGP's listed.They would probably get bored fast.There has always been surfmasters and never will change
