I have been to Bucharest very nice, down to earth, cool place and the people are very nice despite the negative reputation of the country being Corrupt, the people are genuinely down to earh, honest and hard working considering the low wages that are offered. As an American I had a wonderful time i have to say!

The one thing that struck me while visiting Bucharest is that the city is clean and beautiful, old majestic buildings everywhere but the people make way below what they really should be earning. I have been to many countries with higher incomes that couldnt touch the education standards and friendliness that this special country offers! Cheers to Romania! this country has a bright future in my eyes! :thumbsup

Huh? I'm serious, since they let Poland in we've had nothing but Polish up here in the North West (Blackpool) i get them knocking at the door begging for odd jobs all the time.... I go to the supermarkets and there they are speaking a totally different language, making me feel almost alien in my own country. It's an odd time to live up here for sure... o_O

I guess they do provide entertainment when folks on my street hire them as painters/decorators and they fuck everything up.
