I gave up on RIM Devices 8 months ago - happy with my Treo 700w

I have the 8100 (the pearl). It is sweet, super sweet actually. I down loaded opera mini and can actually surf anything I want to on it. Only thing lacking is WiFi but it is as small as my Razr was. The keyboard is tiny as a result but that is the price you play for a for a super tiny super sweet phone.

I wish I could get the newer models here

I had a blackberry origionaly, got it about 3 years ago. a year ago i bought the treo 700w when it first came out. I just recently when back to blackberry, thank god. Maybe some people like it and that's cool but for me it was the most hellish year of phone use i have ever had. Windows mobile is even buggier and less reliable than pc versions, there is obviously no email push, no pin messages. if you don't either go into the settings>memory and clear programs you've run or buy 3rd party software to fully close programs they all just sit in memory and slow your device down to a crawl. i don't know if its the antenna of what either but my treo got about half the reception of my new blackberry. Really the only things I liked about the treo were the expansion slot for mini sd cards and internet explorer. however the gadets thats the treo had couldnt come close to making up for its lack of reliability and general shittiness.

i hated it

now im with the 8700g
what a fine piece of work...expected for the 8800 i think is march , hopefully no delays
