still going on? LOL

um....considering myspace controls 2% of ALL ALL ALL internet traffic, it isn't going anywhere any time soon

great news... now all the 13-15 year old girls who have internet predators after them can put up more pics and gain more popularity. AWESOME!

Well, it could go down in a year. It's all about trends and what's 'cool'. This new 300 photos thing is a very good step in a 'right' direction for them. If they just sat idly by then I think this fad would eventually wear off.

As it is though, you're right, we'll probably see another two years of it at least. (bookmark this thread for boasting rights in 2010). :thumbsup

doubt it, since 2004 myspace has seen a 4300% increase usage...most smart business people have gone from calling it a fad to accepting that it is a standard in social networking

forbes has had some great articles on it

You know what, you're right again. I was the idiot who called blogging a 'fad'.

If you don't mind, a slap in the head might be what I require. I think it's just that I'm too lazy to get on the myspace bandwagon, so I try to justify it by saying that it won't last long. :Oh crap

there just comes a time when people have to accept when something goes from a fad to a "standard"

hell, even some of the biggest companies in the world are now redirecting all traffic from their main site to myspace...so, instead of using their server bandwidth they just have a kickass myspace page up

I hated it at first, but once I really realized the amazing marketing potential it has I jumped on board real quick...

Do you think it's too late to get a slice of the action now though? (talking about me getting into it at this stage)
