I can honeslty say that I do not believe in love at first sight.

I am a true believer of love growing out of something, like friendship for instance.

My honey and I have actually known each other as acquaintences for about 10 years...(10 years ago we shared one kiss) and then a year and a half ago we got together and we have been inseperable ever since

This is probably the worst genre and forum to address your question, as most of the folks here are strictly lust driven.

However, I do think there is such a thing as love at first site. Whether it works out or not is a different question.. That all depends on the people involved.

Chances are very very slim anyone will make eye contact with someone, develop a loving relationship with that person, and live happily ever after... But it's possible.

young in dallas does kinda suck... dallasites are a different breed of people(don't take offense if you're from dallas b/c i am). plus you have the shits from smu running around...

as for love at first site, it's almost wrong to believe in. you're suppose to fall in love b/c of the person and how you get along, not because of the way they look. but you're right with the lust i think.

Yes, My dad saw my mom for the 1st time, never spoke to her, bet his buddy $10 he would marry her, three weeks later they got engaged, and now 40 years later they are still happily married and made $10 on the deal!

BTW- Being from Houston, I've been to Dallas a number of times and, Yes the dating scene sucks there...

i don't think too many people experience true love... if you get married at 25 and you die and are still married then you can say it was real... but people say they are in love,get married and then divorce...you can't fall OUT of love if its true.... I love my mommy and that wouldnt change because it's true love

One day 5 years ago I was driving down the street and I saw one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, I showed my passenger the girl and he said she was cute but I was struck and as I pulled along the street I wished I could have stopped to talk to her. We get to the job location and while I am looking at the front of the building she walks up to me and asks me for a light. I don't smoke but I found her a light. She looked in my eyes and I looked in hers and while I am sure it was more lust then love on my part, at first sight we have been together ever since. She is my soul mate and I still look at her some times when she is a sleep and feel lucky I have her. The best part of it is I know she feels the same way about me. I love her now but when I first saw her it was lust, but after just looking at her face that day we both felt a connection. So maybe love is not at first site but a premonition of something more could be. AT least that's what I think.
