Stocks and Bonds trading - where to start?
My dad was a broker for a couple years, and only recently have I become interested in learning about it.
Where are some good online resources to help understand how the basics of trading works, and where to start for n00bz0rz. Thank you. |
Hi Brad,
I used to be a broker, so maybe I can help. Fool.com is a very good, n00b friendly website. Assuming you want to trade with an online brokerage, check out their website, they will probably have good resources. I trade with Charles Schwab (schwab.com) If you want to look up a specific topic, go to investorlinks.com, a directory of financial sites. There's a text box in the upper left to enter a search term, so if you want info on "candlesticks" or "canslim" you can find sites on topic. Please note they don't seem to clear out old and dead links. I also like investopedia.com. And if you really want to learn how to use an online broker, I can recommend an ebook at www.booklocker.com/books/2586.html or in paperback at stockcharts.stores.yahoo.net/ulgutooninri.html. |
