What's it worth?
 

I've been thinking about making a paysite for webmasters, with a large database of scripts, tutorials, resources n stuff.

Scripts would be the #1 content thing, featuring things such as:
- toplist script
- random gallery script
- trade script
- tgp script
- email list script
- email membership script
- formmail scripts
- dynamic content scripts
- random gallery display scripts
- content management scripts
- etc etc etc. anything needed for an adult site of any kind really, taking requests as well, so if it isn't present, it will be made

Now, do you guys think this a viable idea, and if so, what kind of price do you think should be asked for membership?

Someone will just start a TGP version of your site and give it all away for free. :winkwink:

Well, if they would want to spend hundreds of hours programming just to give the shit away for free, I would most certainly admire them for their selflessness....
If they would use my scripts for it, I would sue them, beat them up, img src them, dos them, mailbomb them and have them assassinated :)

(seriously though, people posting it for free would be in hella much trouble, just like they would be when stealing content or stealing scripts like UCJ n shit. copyright infringement is a quick and easy way to find yourself in more trouble than you can imagine...at least, that's what my lawyer says :1orglaugh )

But, ehm, apart from the whole thing of people who prefer stealing things like scripts and content, would you people pay for access to all the scripts you need, and if so, how much would you pay for it?

This has been done by other people allready.

I believe the price was like 199 USD for a year access to the script database/membersarea.

First off... you would have to be one HELLUVA coder for me to trust all my script needs with you. I mean, I go one place for traffic trading script, another source for submission software... etc, etc....

First off, I am one HELLUVA coder ;)
Second, it would not include stuff like submission software. Desktop software would most definitely not be included (so if someone was hoping for a new OS or some Photoshop kinda thing, too bad).
Secondly, for trade scripts like UCJ and TGP scripts like Brownie, I would still advise those programs instead of my scripts.
I mean, I was thinking about making a lifetime membership cost $100, and for that money, it simply isn't worth it to code stuff that would make way more than that per license.
The trade script beats CJUltra and TrafficDrive, and has no skimming, and the tgp script beats AGP and AGS, but the best shit around you simply can't get for such low prices.
