    Tell Me About UFC

    i don't follow this stuff at all but I was a big boxing fan growing up and I can't help noticing that UFC/MMA fighting now seems way more popular than boxing in North America at least. So who is making all the money? Are the fighters making the big money guys like Tyson and Sugar Ray Leonard did? Is there a Vince McMahon type guy who owns UFC and is making a killing?
    I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

      To be honest I don't even know. But it's fucking entertaining thats for sure.

              I saw some earnings in another thread that implied that the title fight fighters last night were paid about $200K for the match each. Dunno if that's up to par with boxing matches.

                  that's what i thought - for the amount of attention and i assume revenue these fights are taking in $200K seems very low. one day i bet the top guys break off and set up their own matches and split the take the way boxers do.

                      Not even close.. Pay wise. Top boxers get paid millions. While mma fighters get paid in thousands, although there are some cases where a fighter gets paid over a million.
