Great fight, but I think they stopped it to early. Tito looked great despite Lidell getting the best of him. Tito was also gaurding quite well when they stopped the fight. I thought he should have let the fight keep going. Thats the difference betwee Pride and UFC.

The fight was stopped right, in fact, Mario let it go too long.

Tito was in the FETAL position, that is NOT intelligent defending.

Liddell won that.

Agreed. All the final shots were on the arm and not even doing damage. That said Tito should've been way more active. Though he's lucky it got past the first round. Good fight though!

Now we have Liddell VS Rampage and Mirko CroCop to look forward too!

Exactly my thoughts. Tito was not on the verge of getting KO'd, he was guarding to a T... I only want stops for near-KO or cuts the size of Jenna's vagina.

Ortiz bet his purse on 3rd round TKO and quit fighting to cash in.

Pride often lets the fight go on for too long... overkill aiin't a good thing for the sport even thought it's a great show.

did you see the replay ? pretty much every one of theses punch (except 1 or two) landed. He landed at least 2 good one in that beatdown.

I thought Ortiz would've been able to take Liddell down more than just 1 time. Afterall, that is his specialty. He's no match for Chuck standing up.
