Best fight of the Night = Griffen Vs. Jardine

My favorite fighter is Liddell and I have been waiting for Tito to get his rematch for a long time BUT the best fight of the night might be Griffen and Jardine..these guys know how to brawl and it should be a war. BTW I think Griffen would beat Tito if they fought again and he might have beat him the first time, but the judges were too busy watching the ring girls. :2 cents:

I thought that fight was damn close but that last takedown by Tito in the closing seconds of round 3 probably won him the fight. I thought Jardine beat Stephan Bonnar and got hosed on that decision. I don't know why UFC refs don't score leg kicks higher but Jardine was tagging Bonnar at will. I think this fight is a bit of a step back for Griffin in that he doesn't gain much by beating Jardine and is fucked if he loses, but all of his fights are exciting and I have a feeling this one will be a BRAWL while it lasts...

:error

Tito owned him the entire match

Note*** I wish Forest won :(

I watched the Griffin vs. Ortiz fight again for the third time and Ortiz in no way owned Griffen. After the first round Griffen came alive and had the upper hand. Despite his highly hyped cardio level, it looked like he gassed a little. If it would have went 5 Tito would have lost IMO.

Watch closely... the flury of sloppy punches thrown by Forest had very little on them.

I agree, plus Dana is a smart mofo and he knows these two guys styles match up very well for a classic fight. Noone has more heart than Griffin.

Just because someone throws wild haymakers (Forest), doesn't mean they were scoring.

Tito beat Forest soundly, and the only ones who think otherwise are new fans who don't understand MMA.

tito is a dumbass
i cant wait to see his ass get beat one more time

Hey Anthony, I admit in the first round he was throwing wildly but in the 2nd and third Griffin landed more punches and did more damage. Yes tito took him down at the end of the third and that scores well, but even when he got Griffin down at the end of the third, Griffin threw & landed more elbows than Tito. Just because we dont agree with a fight result in no way means they dont understand MMA it just means they dont agree with you.

It will definitely be an entertaining night. Looking forward to it.

I hope Tito taps that ass. But, I think Jardine is going to take out Forrest with leg kicks

Doctor Dre 12-30-2006 03:12 PM

Best fight of the night will be Pride Shockwave ... They have 5 heavyweights on the card who can easily beat Silvia... lol

Doctor Dre 12-30-2006 03:36 PM

Tito aiin't gonna win this one... if he does it will be cauz he's lucky... Maybe he's in shape, but Chuck's odds are definitly a LOT better.

Sorry, I did make that post with some attitude, I'm getting alot of TUF noobs who make posts about the same fight on a MMA board I frequent.

If there is any definitive answer to who won that fight between Tito and Forest...

It's Forest who said in a post fight interview, "Look at his face, and look at mine". If Forest's punches landed on anything but Tito's forearms and gloves, it would have counted, but it didn't.

You can watch the stream from UFC.tv

It is true that Griffin's face was damaged the most but most of that damage was from the first round when Tito man handled him on the ground. But like Bonner was saying, he needs to get hit and bloodied up before he even gets into the fight. Hes a banger and I want him to win tonght for sure.
