Feel Good Story of the Year - Autistic Kid shoots six 3-point shots
|
Stories like this sink fast when there are threads about dictators being hung, but hopefully a few folks will be touched by this.
Share your own feel good stories too... ADG Webmaster |
Good news but also old news...I believe when it actually happened it was all over the news including ESPN...
One of my favourites was this story of this father who ran with his parapeligic son in triathalons...I believe I actually saw the Youtube clip on here...he basically swam while his son was in a rubber dingy and he pulled it all the way....will try to find it and post here |
here it is

Welcome to 2003.

Looking at that film my cynical side wonders if the dad does it for himself or for his son (especially considering the soundtrack) - a friend of mine has a daughter in her 20's with muscular dystrophy, and he is totally proud and supportive of her, and yet never, ever, would he seek sympathy for her condition, nor for how much he sacrifices for her.
Nonetheless, thank you for sharing, because the empathetic side of me rejoices that we are all capable of unconditional love... ADG Webmaster |
:thumbsup :)

I didn't mention it before, but I have a severly autistic nephew. I am endlessly amazed and impressed about how much care and love my sister and her healthy kids give to him. His name is also Jason...I love you champ : ) ADG Webmaster |
Thats pretty good, he plays better than me

This kid is a cousin of a girl I was dating a while back. This was a HUGE story nationally, not just here in Rochester.
