Am I the webmaster legally responsiple for the use of other webmasters use of meta tags on their sites?

Actually I have consulted a friend that is an attorney and though he is not familiar with internet law or the porn business he has agreed to research the matter for me.

If I display links to other sites from my site just what am I legally responsible for? It seems to be your thinking that I am legally responsible for the meta tags used by other webmasters on their sites. Would I also be responsible for their complicance with 2257 and its book keeping requirements?
