How do I embed a movie into a wordpress page?
 

I want to embed a movie onto my wordpress blog

I want to keep the main index but just change it so their is an embedded movie above the posts then rename it like domain.com/movie1.php

any help?

I've been searching on their with no luck

anyone? I know it can be that hard to just embed a movie into wordpress

but the thing i dont get is how can i make that a different page with all my posts still on it?

I think I know what you're talking about, but can you break it down a bit more, and make somewhat-complete sentences? My brain is fried today, sorry to have to make you go through that. :)

I'm pretty sure I know what you want and have some ideas we can try, but I want to make sure.

There is a plugin for youtube movies. its easy to modify it to similiar streaming sites.

I *think* he wants to make a page with a specific movie at the top, but STILL display his blog. If that's the case, it's a matter of detecting the page requested, if/then'ing it, and then spitting out the templated blog after embedding the movie.

*If* that's what he's trying to say. I'm not 100% sure.

That'll embed it in a post, though, AFAIK. Not in the PAGE, with the posts below.

cant you just make a php movie1 with the video imbeded
and edit the index.php and call movie1
