The Descent - you gotta see this shit
 

I waited 3 months for this movie to come out - and it did not dissapoint!

Finally came out & a couple friends who are big horror buffs came over last night and we watched this flick. We all agreed this is one of the most original, best-played and thought out horror movies to come out in a looong time. No cheap tricks or crappy moments - this movie is fucking awesome!

I'm wary of horror films because 9 out of 10 they are pretty lame but this shit was sooo good. You have to check it out.

If it's the one I watched last weekend, you've wasted your money. Several neophite women decend into an unknown cave, leaving directions behind and no note as to where they are or what they'll find. Maybe a good girl flick.

Man I don't know how you guys could say it's crap!

There was shit happening in that movie that NEVER happens in horror movies - and those moments made it really good imo.

When was the last time you saw a horror flick with an all-female victim cast that had several layers to the story, great character development, a survival thriller AND a horror movie all wrapped up in one?

I can't think of ANY!

Anyway, I don't want to go into detail and spoil it for people, but there were some key scenes that really made it a classic in my eyes. :2 cents:

I just watched it 2 nights ago. I thought it was pretty awesome. It actually had me squirming and jumping in some parts, so it was definitely good.

man that movie blew. I mean it really sucked. It will simple and how in god's name do you have a bunch of hot chicks in a dark wet cavern and not have any lesbianism.

I thought it was well-made, but did you think it was scary? I don't know, nothing about it gave me the creeps. Most of the time I was thinking, "This is pretty cool, but some bare breasts or girl-on-girl smooching would be good right about now."

I guess it's just time to weatch another thriller movie. :)
