Is Gmail the best?
 

Gmail is cool, but do you think it's the best email out there (besides your own .com of course)?

so far so good with me - prefer using gmail in all my business and personal dealings.

Gmail is ok, Fastmail is the best

+1 for Gmail. It rules 4sure!

I've used both and if you need IMAP then fastmail is pretty damn good, but at the moment gmail rules it for me. Especially as I can email from any of my domains once its set up.

G Mail is it for me. Their filters works very well.

Gmail's nice. Prolly the best out of the competition at the moment.

It's about time they add in a 'folder' option.

Plus return trace route, among a few other things.

I'm going to forward a bunch of email addresses to it. My current spam filters arent' working so well.

i'd have to agree here, gmail is the best. the other services have made upgrades but still cant compare to gmail.

I like gmail, I only use it for personal email though.

I use Gmail quite a bit, and it is good. It filters out most spam.

I have no problem with Gmail, its great.
Jaegermail, always gets a response, usually, "Jaegermail ? Like as in Jagermiester?"

THe problem with yahoo the interface is really cool but their spam filters suck. So far I use gmail for everything. Do you think having it on my business cards is cheesy?

The label option isn't all that different from folders.

Just set up your gmail with your .com crap so you still have [email protected] to show off.

I never really got into the free email thing. I have always used my own...can't for the life of me figure out why people use things like gmail, especially those of us who own a crap load of domains

Portability, simplicity, access from anywhere, better filters, crazy storage capabilities that are available everywhere to name a few.

The accessibility, simplicity and ease of Gmail outweighs most email clients. The spam filters are also incredible. And you can use Gmail to send/receive from any of your domains.
