Is Gmail the best?

Gmail is cool, but do you think it's the best email out there (besides your own .com of course)?

TheLegacy 12-27-2006 01:58 PM

so far so good with me - prefer using gmail in all my business and personal dealings.

NinjaSteve 12-27-2006 02:01 PM

I've used both and if you need IMAP then fastmail is pretty damn good, but at the moment gmail rules it for me. Especially as I can email from any of my domains once its set up.

allrobhill 12-27-2006 02:09 PM

bump :) gmail - the best!

tigerallenyim 12-27-2006 02:14 PM

G Mail is it for me. Their filters works very well.

Barefootsies 12-27-2006 02:20 PM

Gmail's nice. Prolly the best out of the competition at the moment.

It's about time they add in a 'folder' option.

Plus return trace route, among a few other things.

:2 cents:

everestcash 12-27-2006 02:25 PM

gmail rules

danevans 12-27-2006 02:41 PM

now that the "out of office" spam finally stopped going thru the filters, my vote goes to gmail too

blonda80 12-27-2006 04:30 PM

gmail is the best!!! I love it!!!!

Dagwolf 12-27-2006 04:35 PM

I'm going to forward a bunch of email addresses to it. My current spam filters arent' working so well.

bdld 12-27-2006 04:42 PM

i'd have to agree here, gmail is the best. the other services have made upgrades but still cant compare to gmail.

AZSarah 12-27-2006 05:05 PM

I like gmail, I only use it for personal email though.

DaddyHalbucks 12-27-2006 05:25 PM

I use Gmail quite a bit, and it is good. It filters out most spam.

VeriSexy 12-27-2006 06:09 PM

Nookster 12-27-2006 08:12 PM

GMail = #1 for sure.

EBORG9 12-27-2006 08:18 PM

I have no problem with Gmail, its great.
Jaegermail, always gets a response, usually, "Jaegermail ? Like as in Jagermiester?"

THe problem with yahoo the interface is really cool but their spam filters suck. So far I use gmail for everything. Do you think having it on my business cards is cheesy?

scottybuzz 12-27-2006 08:26 PM

The label option isn't all that different from folders.

Just set up your gmail with your .com crap so you still have [email protected] to show off.

wyldblyss 12-27-2006 08:30 PM

I never really got into the free email thing. I have always used my own...can't for the life of me figure out why people use things like gmail, especially those of us who own a crap load of domains

Portability, simplicity, access from anywhere, better filters, crazy storage capabilities that are available everywhere to name a few.

The accessibility, simplicity and ease of Gmail outweighs most email clients. The spam filters are also incredible. And you can use Gmail to send/receive from any of your domains.

funbkey 12-27-2006 08:38 PM

Rochard 12-27-2006 08:44 PM

Again, the label option accomplishes the same thing.
