How often do you fly home to visit your parents/family?
 

For those of you who live far away from where your family is, how often do you travel home to see them?

Once a year? Once every 5 years?
a few times a year? Just wondering what other people do.

I havn't seen my parents for 1 year. I invited them to come to me next autumn.

I haven't seen my family in England in almost 8 years now

It's hard being so far away, and I definitely plan on visiting in 2007, it's been too long and time waits for no-one, if you live far away and don't see your family often I'd definitely recommend making the time to plan a trip .. if you don't they may not be there when you're ready to visit them...

im 18 so i still live at home but when i move away in 07 im never visitin these ol mothafuckas :pimp

I just saw my family in october, but usually once a year is the average.

I havent seen or spoke to my mom in years... why ruin a good thing?

90% of GFY still lives with their parents.

I usually see the rest of my family about once a year, however sometimes it's a little longer. I find that my relationship with my immediate family is improved by maintaining a minimum 1500 mile distance from them at all times, save for the annual visit.

I went to our province 12 years ago, and never comeback. I just stayed with my family here.

My mom doesn't live that far.

I try to see them twice a year...more if I can...

I'm just taking a 30 minute ride to my parents house, pal. :)

i try to visit sweden once a year, was kind of a pain when i was living in australia, at least i'm in canada now so I'm closer and don't have to endure a 24-30 hour flight...

Since I didn't go home for Christmas, it'll be almost a year when I see them next... I regret skipping the trip though, 2x a year is nicer.
