best places to attempt to get a domain that is about to drop?
 
a former friend if mine is in jail for the next 15 years but his domain expires in 08 ( has been regged sence 2000 )

it is a letterNumberLetter.net
i wanna get on as many drop sites as possible to grab this
i have been using that domain for email sence 2000 ;/

can you send a letter to your former friend & ask him for the registrar login & password

check and see if it is a snapnames priority domain first. if it is- then place your backorder at snapnames.com. if it is not a snapnames priority domain, then backorder it at snap, enom,& pool.

using a pddw account at http://IPalert.com to make sure you know the domain is dropping, on what day and where- is also a good move.

Best advice ever. I've learned the hard way throwing away $$ backordering domains with other registrars.
