LOL Funny convo bewteen my 5 year old daughter and a friend

So i was helping out at a friend of mine getting some furniture out because his grandmother who lived with him passed away. In the bedroom my daughter (5years old) walked in and:

My daughter: "Can i carry something?"

My friend: "Not at the moment hon, this bed is very old"

My daughter: "How old?"

My friend: "Well, my grandmother slept in it for over 30 years"

My daughter: "So, where is she going to sleep now?"

My friend: "She's gone hon"

My daughter: "On a trip?"

My friend: "No hon, she's in heaven now....."

My daughter: "Oh........... she's a pilot!"

I was just sipping on a drink and i almost spilled it. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
Even my friend laughed it out loud.

Well, this thread has been here for an hour and I'm the only person to read it. Next time, add the word 'drama' to the title.

I miss when mine were 5 years old, it was a joy watching them just being themselves. :)

In August they are officially teens. It's my barometer on my age, and I'm getting old. :(

You started early eh? Arent you and I the same age? Ill be 34 in March. I could be wrong, but thought we were fairly close age wise. My oldest is 6.

I turn 38 in a few days. It's the asian blood, keeps me looking young. :)

Hilarious.. :) ....Well I'd say you need to be a pretty good pilot to get to heaven so I think your daughter knew exactly what she was talking about :thumbsup

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh Great! I have such anecdotes at home too with my 5 year old daughter but never try to record them and forget at once!

aww.. that is so cute!!

i remember a few christmases ago, i ended up being hospitalized for a few days because of a really bad respiratory infection. luckily i had a private room all to myself, but i was still not in the best of spirits. all i basically did all day was watch television (which in retrospect was pretty freakin sweet!! haha). anyways, the only thing that put me in a good mood was when bill cosby's "kids say the darndest things" would come on. :) so cute!!
