I hate to do this, but I am afraid we have some Christmas drama
 

Today has been pretty eye opening for me, and I have to say it saddens me.

We all have heard the poem, The Night Before Christmas, and most of you can probably name at least some of the reindeer. Donner, Dancer, Prancer, Blitzen, Rudolph, etc.

What do these names have in common? They are all male names. No big deal, right?

Wrong.

Fact is, by December, most male reindeer have worn themselves out so much due to fighting, fucking and running around that by December, their antlers have simply fallen off.

Female reindeer retain their antlers in order to protect their young.

In reality, Santa's reindeer most likely were female as they have their antlers still, and have enough energy to actually fly around the world.

I hate to call Santa out on his special day, but it is 2006 and this blatant sexism has to come to an end.

Maybe the Boy Alley or will76 can make this their next crusade.

So if you were going to rename them to female names, what would they be? And would they still fit right in the song?

I will have to give that some thought.

This was brought up on a show called QI over here and as one panellist put it, "If the were male reindeer you would see their bollocks silhouetted against the sky".

have fun old man, glad I can bring you some joy on christmas. But, the joke is on you. Anyone with have a brain cell knows that issues like zango are important to all of us. You can try to trivialise it by making stupid comparisons to factional bullshit, but I don't think most people take issues like zango lightly like apparently you do.
