how many affiliates would like a full blown review site script and what is it worth?

Just Beta testing my review site script and will be launching it soon, so how many would like it and what's it worth to you? Might sell it to lots of people for a lowish price or auction it off to the top 10 bidders.

It will do everything you require, except an affiliate program, which I'm working on. Came here first as this is the main affiliates and sponsors board. Sorry for talking business on a holiday.

maxcarter101 12-25-2006 07:33 AM

I'll bid $0.20.

Paul Markham 12-25-2006 08:42 AM

Depends on the license, features, support, etc.

For instance can we give it to affiliates?

I would say $1,000 would be fair.

fris 12-25-2006 10:54 AM

some other guy made a review script he was only charging 200$

like paul said is it for affils, would you offer a cobranding service, so they can use their own domains, etc.

that would be worth more.

FreeHugeMovies 12-25-2006 04:43 PM

You can already get a review site with screen caps, reviews and galleries made with the ability to co-brand from www.reviewwizard.com

Radiate 12-25-2006 05:13 PM

Sounds interesting, I look forward to seeing more details when you're ready

The Ghost 12-25-2006 05:29 PM

Have a url where it can be seen in action?

I haven't created a testimonial part of the site yet, but I plan on it.

I think we all know the owner of Dr Bizzaro

http://www.drbizzaro.com/

He has been extremely happy with his review site you can see here.

You can contact me at michael at reviewwizard.com if you have any questions.

BoobleBob 12-26-2006 08:27 AM

The margins on our review sites are extremely narrow. If 10% were skimmed, we'd be fucked.

Yeah but he was asking for someone OTHER than the owner of the site to give a review or opinion. It's not a fair opinion otherwise now is it?

Wha? Maybe I should offer RW for free and not make any money from it. :helpme RW is cheaper and saves you time by not building your own. If you want to build your own then do it.

Of course you are including the keywords and the traffic that you guys are buying.

FHM just a question, is it your reviews they are using or are you grading the sites by your standards?

Yes, my scores

ucv.karl 12-26-2006 01:56 PM

Couldn't someone just modify/tweak wordpress to be a Review Site?

MikeSmoke 12-26-2006 02:31 PM

taking a skim in return for a turn-key site isn't unfair.
my only issue is the screen caps and 2257... :(

starpimps 12-26-2006 02:37 PM

review wizard looks pretty nice

maxcarter101 12-26-2006 03:02 PM

Yeah okay, but anyone other than Review Wizard owners have an opinion on it?

10% skim on a review script thats not even seo friendly is pretty harsh imho

MikeSmoke 12-26-2006 09:00 PM

bump for any reviews from people using it...

The script is stand alone, you host it on your URL. There is no skimming. You can easily add reviews, grade, list and sub list the site. So it could come up in the following categories MILF, Hardcore, Reality, Amateur, because it fits all these criteria. You can add a review which can then be viewed by rating or date, you can add to the number of reviewers and search for his/her reviews.

Adding links, banners, FHGs to a review is simple, adding a coded link is simple. This is a bit more professional than doing it in Wordpress or a message board and will produce a totally professional looking review site. I think it's for affiliates who want to send traffic to their own site first, and refine it before sending it to a sponsor.

My feelings on this is if it's too cheap everyone and their brother will own one, so reducing the effectiveness of it.

tenderobject 01-01-2007 08:02 PM

bump for updates! if you need beta tester count me in :)

maxcarter101 01-01-2007 08:23 PM

I regret to inform everyone that davebl is currently in hospital after suffering very bad head injuries after a motorcycle accident over the weekend, please send your condolences via this thread and I will personally relay the messages to him. Here's to hoping he recovers soon, he's a good person.

rankscom 01-01-2007 08:27 PM

I don't know him but I just happened to catch this thread tonight. I hope the injuries weren't too serious. Best wishes to him.

I tried to ask him about the script but he wouldn't reply, he's in a bad state, he just kind of looked at me blankly when I asked what was the deal with the script. They say he hasn't spoken since the crash. :(
