Me too . . . turns out, I still do.

Saw him on the Colbert Report the other night and would not have recognized him if they didn't say who it was.

MaDalton 12-22-2006 09:36 PM

You know what has been tripping me out lately? I ordered those "Midnight Special" Dvd's from TV a couple of months ago. Every month they send me a new one, based on that particular year that the show aired.

Anyway, the quality of these DVD's are very good. It really messes with me to see Frampton, Aerosmith, Nugent, and all the others in their prime. So young, so hungry. These performances were 30 years ago, and I remember tuning in when I was a youngster. Its sad when you can flashback like that, and then see how they are today.

bizman2960 12-23-2006 12:02 AM

He doesn't look bad for his age.

Where can I get those? There was some great stuff on that show. It would be cool if ABC's "In Concert" series from the 70's would get released, too.

PurrrsianPussyKat 12-23-2006 08:24 AM

Still sexy after all these years. ;)

edit : Is that the shirt I sent you?

PamiebDVD 12-23-2006 10:48 AM

Saw him in concert a few years ago and talked with him backstage. He still sounds great...and is very cool to talk with.

Even HE can't believe what happened to himself....in particular his hair. Had him sign the cover of "....Comes Alive" and he laughed about all the hair he used to have.

MissMina 12-23-2006 10:59 AM

He still sounds great when he plays.....

Mutt 12-23-2006 11:03 AM

he looks good - he's bald but he looks good. look at his face, held up better than most. i think more than 50% of men lose their hair - well 100% of men lose hair, just a question of how much and how long you live.

i was about 10 when he was a big deal - he must be about 55 now.

Justin Hawkins from The Darkness, though he left the band this year after leaving rehab from alcohol and drug problems.

The Darkness? I must be out of the loop.

Congrats on him having the smarts to leave after giving up drugs and alcohol though, as that usually is the only reason they have any talent.

Thanks, but I am not quite that old. I was 15 or 16 when it came out, so I was still riding dirt bikes back then.
