Well, how many friends will still be with you if you have no $? Out of my 4 best friends 3 would, im 100% sure, not so sure about the 4th one, lol.

I myself don't care how much $ my friends has at all. All my friends are fucking broke!

All of my friends. I do NOT share details about my income with my friends. They all have perfectly respectable jobs (first grade teacher, etc.) that do NOT pay well so I don't feel the urge to brag.

The same 3 that I had for the last 20 years, and in the 11 years I've been in this business have been the best of friends, and have never asked for a dime.

I don't trust a single "friend" I've made since being in this business.

Friendship ain't got nothing to do with cash. A friend is someone that's got your back no matter what. A friend is unconditional shit. Someone you trust with your life. It still kills me when people say, "He/she's my friend, but I don't trust him/her."
That's an associate, an acquaintance, a colleague, a drinking buddy, a funny guy, somebody who's cool to hang out with. NOT a friend.

My friends could care less about my income or lack thereof.

If you are rich... I mean you make way more than Average Joe, you probably have a big house, a big car, a boat, sea-doo, motorcycles, laptops, cell phones, eating in nice restaurants, blah blah blah... you can't hide that shit to "FRIENDS". They know you have cash at some point. They don't need to see your financial papers to figure it out.

i knowwww, its like like you tell them dude. They just know if you have a good car, good house, good clothes and all the electronic ext.

I only hang around rich people and leech of them personally. I'd drop all my friends if they were poor, or not cool anymore...you know, maybe wear the wrong brand of clothes and shit.

Not where I'm from. People have no need to show off, or buy expensive toys. I know a few uber-wealthy guys and you wouldn't know them from the average joe, of course they DO have a debt-free house, a decent car, a summer cottage etc..but not necessarily anything that an 'average joe' might have, with a mortgage.

I think the mindset of finnish people and americans is quite different.. if my neighbor has a SUV, I don't necessarily need to take more mortgage just so I can buy a bigger car than he has...

mine friends are with me not because of money... because i am good person... and i think the most part will stay wit me no matter that i have or haven't money...

All my friends would be my friends no matter what. That is what friendship is all about.

True but if you have a friend you go to places with, and he always has to pay instead of you, it will change your friendship sooner or later...who I always thought my best friend is, haven't helped me for years and I think I've been there if he needed me...that's how things can change...sadly

i have only one "real" friend. a 100% friend, if you know what i mean... and he will be with me no matter what happens and how much money i have...
all the rest are buddies...

90% of my friends have more money than me, I've known most of them for at least 15 years (one over 40 years) so I doubt I'd lose any of them :) These are all people who have been there for me whatever, whenever, and I the same for them.

It's taken me a while to figure it out but there's a BIG difference between an aquaintance and a friend.

I tell them all i'm broke.
Eventhough we go out almost every other day.
