Business Thread - the word "slut"

All,

Is this a really fuck off bad word?

If I placed a produced gallery on my website and called the model a "slut" - would she be able to take me to the cleaners?

OR

Say I had the domain sluttycunts.com - and I posted all the producers gals on there - would I personally be liable for defamity or shaming them somehow?

You silly slut...most model releases come with a statement to the effect that the owner of the photograph can assign any text they wish to, and the model cannot do anything about it. With that said, it's always good to exercise some prudence.

If it was a mainstream model, than yeah, I can see where they might have cause to try and enjoin you with a lawsuit, however, in adult the standards for what is objectionable is vastly different. Nonetheless, I tend to not use that word.

Are they "sluts" Scott?

I dont know - personally I think they are free ladies.

The Ghost 12-22-2006 04:09 PM

No, it is used to market a product, not a description of the person in their everyday life. By agreeing to work is to take the responsibility of the work it's self. But regardless you should have in your model release that you can market the product however you see fit.

ADGW - thinks its great but tends not to use the word.

Anyone with thoughts?

What is the difference between a slut and a whore?

-- A slut fucks for fun.

What is the difference between a slut and a bitch?

-- A slut fucks everyone. A bitch fucks everyone but YOU.

Well - the thing is ive got some traffic thats "slut" derived (keyword) so Im worried that I may "upset" models and their groupie photographers etc etc if I place them under the word "slut".

At the end of the day when it comes down to selling porn - to many men "slutty" stuff is very attractive.

I asked Taylor Little if she was offended by affiliates that marketed her as a "slut". She said, "Well, I AM a slut..."

shekinah 12-22-2006 05:38 PM

only few were sluts..

escorpio 12-22-2006 05:42 PM

I get a lot of SE traffic from the word "slut". I'm not going to give that up just so some slut's feelings don't get hurt.

nuB 101 --- Lesson #4069 "slut" derived (keyword) is off limits and you are no longer allowed to address this subject- wow man where have you been?

Madame0120 12-22-2006 06:08 PM

The majority of PSO clients are male sluts. :thumbsup
