I'm shocked because it seems to me that they could have questioned the girl and got this answer before they filed the charges.

If a chick says she was raped I give her the benefit of the doubt because I know it happens, but the DA has to find more truth before telling all this shit to the public.

Yeah I know, he didnt even speak to the woman for what, 2 years? lol. Seems like it anyway.
