My Epassporte Account Hacked Into
 

I woke up this morning, checked my email and found one that said,

"Your Epassporte password has been changed as requested" !!!!

So I tried to login and sure enough I couldn't. The hacker changed my password on me. I called support asap and spoke to someone who reset the password. I got the new one and logged-in. I only had $9 in my account but the hacker transferred it into his account (sttboss):

Dec 2006 p2p sttboss - $9.00 USD - $9.00 $0.50 Pending

I told the epassporte rep this on the phone and he said "just change your password to one that is more difficult to guess."

And that's all!! He couldn't care less. I know it was just $9 but what's if I had more in there? Do they even care to investigate how the hacker got in? It wasn't a phishing email or anything so he/she must have gotten in some other way.

WTF?!

I hope another company sets up shop onlline and allows adult transactions.

I just called again and they are locking both mine and the other guy's account. At least now they are doing something.

Yes that's me, but my coinscience is clear. This dickhead broke into the ePassporte account and made a payment to me for traffic. I've just been contacted by ePassporte and am resolving it.

hmm, that's really weird. I think epassporte can track this out, and find the fucking dickhead who did this. I recommend looking into ip addresses and then track where the fucker came from, and so on.

I am sure epass can do this.

We are working with STTBoss to resolve this and have no reason to believe he is involved in this.

Do not worry about your money, I have solved this with ePassporte already, I was told that you should receive your money back in a few hours.

I have also provided ePassporte with all available information about this guy.

It seems that the issue is resolved. I spoke with an epassporte rep not long ago and they said they'd freeze both my account and STTBoss's .

They told me to create a new account which I did and they transferred all my settings and info to it. They also gave me back the stolen $9

I am surprised it happened so fast since the rep said it would take about 5-7 business days but I am satisfied.

It wasn't the amount of money taken as much as it was the fact that my account was hacked into.

$9.00.... LOL.... The world is ending... Someone with $9.00 in their account probably used "password" as the password....

surely the amount that was lost is irrelevant, the fact that someone somehow got into his account is the issue. and anyway a lot of people only have an epassporte account as another payment option failing anything else. not everyone uses epassporte as a bank account, that's what banks are for.
