---fucking dell 24" monitor!---
 

okay so i ordered a new 24" monitor from dell, just arrived today....

i unpack it, set it up -

and the piece of shit won't sit level!!! it leans to the right! :disgust



dell monitors have the ablity to twist to the right to orientate in 90-degree mode - its because of this 'slack' that it leans to the right, NOTICEABLY


fucking piece of shit, i'm getting a refund and going to buy something else....

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with the 24" Dell monitor. How much $ did that run you?

Ive had 3 dell lcds, one being a 24, never had a prob. maybe they'll exchange? i love all of my dell lcds..

I just bought that same laptop holder:thumbsup ... I have a 20.1 wide dell and two 17" monitors it works out well.

as for the 24" leaning .. it maybe something you can just tighten in the hinge area ... just pop off that plastic cover and make sure everything is snug

Dell monitors are usually made to a good standard...

stick with it and get the same one but another unit ... I don't think Dell would manufacture them with a natural right lean ;)

I had Dell monitors at work when I worked for the last place I was an employee and I loved it :)

I have two of the same monitors and they are great.

This is a pair of my 24" monitors side by side. Don't know if you can see it in the pic or not, but they *do* "lean" from time to time. Annoying as shit, in my opinion. I ordered the 47" Westy, and am waiting to see the clarity before dropping making it my "main" monitor.

Shouldnt... you would set up your aspect ratio and screen size in monitor properties.

I've heard they're the same monitors as the beauties that Apple puts out, in a different shell. I doubt Dell makes them, in any case.

I have the same monitor and mine is fine. I would just return it and ask for a replacement. It's a great monitor. :)

Actually, that one is PERFECTLY straight -- it's the camera angle. :)

I don't think Apple monitors rotate 90°.

Thus the difference case. If was less lazy, I'd Google it. :)
