Best/Worst movies you saw in 2006?
 

Best? DEJA VU with Denzel Washington. Great suspense/thriller with just a touch of sci-fi. Highly recommend it.

Worst? BORAT. It had about 3 moments where I laughed. The rest was unconvincing and forced.

Borat the best :)

The Departed, Casino Royale, Borat the best.

You, Me and Dupree left me the most disappointed though I did laugh the second time watching once I knew what to expect.

Christ you probbly didnt enjoy Borat as much because you saw tons of previews before hand- right?

Nowhere near the quality of the Borat parts in the ali G show ... was often too fake/scripted

Worst: Nacho Libre (walked out)
Best: La comida de Lucia (independent)

I didn't watch that many movies this year. The one that made me laugh the most though was Jackass 2 by a mile !!!! :thumbsup

The Departed, Borat I thought was absolutely hilarious.

Worst: MeteorMan (dreadful Thai movie)

Best: Children of Men - out this week in the States at last

I am too picky about going to movies so I haven't seen the bad ones yet

there were so many good movies this year...I cant tell the top ones!!

Best: Lucky Number Slevin, The Departed, Pirates of the Carribean II
Worst: Nacho Libre

I must admit Nacho Libre was pretty bad. I love Jack Black but it failed big.

Nacho Libre was a huge letdown. I don't know what he was thinking making a movie that bad.

Holy shit...you said almost exactly what I was going to say....minus the Casino Royale because I have yet to see it....I haven't watched You, Me, and Dupree and second time because it was soooooo bad I had to turn it off halfway through...that movie SUCKED!!!!

i haven't seen many movies this year.. most were mediocre, not good and not bad. the worst though, was this dumb ass horror movie about playing cards.. it was foreign i believe.

just watched Blood Diamond the other day. very good movie. pisses me off that after The Departed and this, i am starting to look forward to (in a non-gay way), a movie with Dicaprio

seriously..it is one that really should be seen on the big screen...the only film I have seen this year that felt like a proper film and not just a reason to sell popcorn

Terrible writing, worse acting. I was hoping for another Bad Boys II type cop action flick. God did that suck.

Most disappointing: Factotum.
I like the director, I love Bukowski and I like Matt Dillon, but Barfly and Mickey Rourke's portrayal of Chinakski put Dillon's to shame.

The worst movie and biggest let down -

Superman Returns!

I'm a huge fan of Superman but this was a tragedy.

I think the best comedy I rented this year was Grandma's Boy. :thumbsup
