PS3 sucks so bad, going below retail on eBay
 

I've never really heard from anyone who owns one, what the PS3 is actually like.

It seemed everyone who bought one only did so to sell it on for profit... :2 cents:

I think it is more a case of people choosing not to get ripped off, plus the fact that Sony actually seems to be shipping some more consoles to stores now. Lots of places are reporting having them in stock, with some single stores getting shipments in of 30 or more.

I sold mine for $950 about a week and a half ago. At least I made a couple dollars. Hahah!

Interesting turnout! Im still playing my my PS2 and somtimes I bust out the old SuperMarioBros on the OG nintendo. Just have to blow on the cartridge first! lol

It's a $600.00 game console... that's a lot of money for every day working people. I am sure many people are waiting to get it at the store and waiting for more games to come out as well before they can justify spending the $600.

PS3 doesn't suck, it's just priced out of most peoples' budgets.

When released over here in March, it's gonna cost over $800. Parents beware... :helpme

I have a PS3 and love it. I am not a hardcore gamer but the unit seems solid and does everything I need it to do.

I cant wait to buy one.

Why get a PS3 if you have a PC? Consoles are so for n00bs. And children.

a PC, Wii and xbox360 is cheaper than ps3.. I think that's a major reason people aren't buying that shit.

It IS the cheapest Blu-ray player out there though. Even though it's not at the $299 sweet spot, a blu-ray player for $600 ain't bad at all, let alone one that plays games too.

Computers are for work, and I doesn't want to worry about whether my graphics card that cost as much as a PS3 will be obsolete in a month.. how's that for a reason?

I think playing on a console has its special feeling...pretty much different than doing it on a PC

its funny how cheap people are. you spend $600 to turn around and sell it for $800 and pocket $200. some people have too much time on their hands. the trip to the store and finding a buyer isn't worth $200. maybe if i could do it as a business it would be worth a damn, but a one off shot. id rather go home and play the thing and get stoned and enjoy my afternoon. IMHO!

I've seen about 7 of them in the past week sitting on the shelf. I have yet been able to find a Wii though. That $250 price tag looks nice to people when they are comparing all the systems.

Actually to me, consoles are for sports, hack n' slash, & adventure games.

PCs are for MMORPG, real-time strategy, and first person shooters :)

I will most likely pickup a Wii in near future. Always like Nintendo. Keep the PS2 going too. :)

I myself own a PS3 and it is a good system. Talledaga Nights looks beautiful on my tv. I can't really say it's a great system yet because there's not a lot of games out for it to show off it's power. I think that by next year this time, the system is gonna be a great system :)

I actually happend to be at Wal-Mart at the right time and ended up buying an extra system to sell on Ebay. It ended last Friday and sold for $701, so I did pocket $65 on it (I paid $600+$36 tax). I was hoping that since it was closer to Christmas that I could've made a little more, but oh well, at least it didn't go for less than I paid for it.

As big as Sony is, you'd think they would have one intelligent person at the company who would have said, 'well let's release some good games at the start so people don't get pissed off'. There's not 1 game right now I would play for PS3, so I'll wait a couple of months until they decide to release good games. Xbox 360 has much better games right now.

And how many people looking at a blue ray are going to want the PS3?
I can't think of any, the PS3 is HUGE to have as just a blueray player.
Esspecially with HD DVD players being around 500 (with the xbox one at 200).

I got a couple logitech ps2 style usb controllers for my laptop.. works just like a console but the graphics are better :thumbsup

I have the XBOX 360 and a PS3...and I think the PS3 is a much better system. The price is the only shitty thing about it right now.

Right now I only have Madden I love it.

I play the PS2 GT4 on it though as thats one of my favorite games.

I also took a boat load of pictures off my camera that has been there for years and got them organized on there etc. Its a neat unit.

Again I am FAR from a gamer so I am not one to offer a review on a product like this. I do know having the blu-ray players is a huge plus. The entire package works for me.

My XBox 360 works fine for me.
