TGP Skim: 1st Click to Gallery or Skim On All Clicks?
 

Okay so right now I'm using a script that, despite skim, sends the surfer to the gallery 100% of the time on the FIRST click. After the first click, it follows whatever skim I have set.

My question is: As far as productivity is concerned, what is the better choice for skimming to trades; 100% to gallery on first click, then 40% or so to trades or something like 70% to gallery regardless of whether it's the first or fifth click? What method do you employ?

I hope I explained this somewhat clearly. What's a good script that doesn't do the 'first click to gallery' thing? Does TTT or Slothtrader do this?

I like to send the 1st click to content.

Alright, that's one for the first click idea. Anyone else got any input as to whether the 'first click to gallery' works better than a general xx% skim?

if your after sales, 1st & more to content
if your after high traffic, more to trades

i almost always send the first click to content.

i find that surfers will sometimes click one thumb to 'test' to see if they are going to be traded a lot and if one click opens to content they'll get click happy and click a bunch of thumbs immediately after.

this works well if you are loading links into new windows... surfer clicks one, checks it, then goes back to the tgp, clicks a bunch more but puts those windows in the background while he looks at the first window he opened.

I always send 1st click to content, then a percentage skim on every click after that (typically nothing under 70% to content...60% an absolute minimum).

With the above mix I get sales, and at the same time my sites and trades slap the living shit out of each other with traffic.
