How does some geo banners exactly guess my location?

Usualy geo targeting banners show my location as Zagreb, and that will always show since all national ISP's are located in Zagreb. But some banners like sexsearch has correctly show my city,Varazdin. How is that possible?Does that banner maybe extract system info or browser info(maybe they use security holes).I think there must be some catch since there on ip info always will be city Zagreb.

It's called GEOIP for a reason.
It uses your IP. Some databases are more acurate than others.

Well yea but when i goes to showmyip.com it shows zagreb a city. Also some ip checkers show slovenia as country beacuse my isp(amis)have headquarters in SLovenia. So still is no sense.

They send a midget through the lines to check where your at and then he reports back

goes to show that some people use better databases then others

there are some programs that sell ips/city for their webmasters
I live in another city than the one I give as my address.
Sexsearch always shows the city from my written addy as geoip which makes me think some adult companies sell this info.

Could be something as simple as your IP back-resolving to something like ppp78.varazdin.isp.net

Could be something more sophisticated like data mining, where a few people from your ISP have entered data (such as an address) into a site which allows them to associate your ISP's IP range with that location.
