Is This Sponsor Shaving?
Was surfing someone's site and clicked on their banner and something wierd happened.
The page loaded with their referral code then the page refreshed and reloaded a differrent referral code, the same referral code you get if you type in for the main site. I changed the referral code(might be an issue with this affiliate) but try yours and see what happens. http://www.easydrunkgirls.com/pps=yourcodehere/ I don't see any reason to change the referral code even if a bogus referral code is used. It would simply not be paid to anyone. |
BUMPS.....from shaving(it's a black problem)
|
Last time I checked Extreme Paychecks is a top notch program.
|
Partnersoft uses cookies
|
did you get pps=NoAdvert ?
thats prolly because its a non valid pps code isnt it? |
It can happen that your traffic doesn't work with a sponsor, it doesn't mean they are shaving, it just means you should move somewhere else or send traffic in different ways.
I had one very well known sponsor do 1:20000+, changed to another one and the same traffic is doing around 1:700. I'd first check the linking codes twice, maybe there is some space in your url that makes it invalid or something like this...yes, copy and paste isn't always foolproof, happened to me once. |

I wish you would read the fucking post before posting shit that has nothing to do with this thread. |
By the example link it looks like the tracking script is working?

"NoAdvert" was inserted in the pps field. The account is valid, it's on an active and maintained site. I see no reason for this to happen. |

Click the enter link then take a look. |
extremepaychecks dosesnt shave, post proof, or banned

And how did you check it? |

Theyre good guys - really :thumbsup |

I haven't accused them of shaving. I asked others to click the link and tell me if they think they are shaving. A BIG FUCKING DIFFERNCE azzzzzzhole! |

ummm
Just did it with mine. My acct is active but when I clicked enter it changed to pps=NoAdvert I just tried a few of the FHG's from various sites in the program and all tracked with no problem. I doubt extreme paychecks shaves, but they need to be made aware of this ASAP |

But you can count on some brown nosing shit wipe to come in here without even looking at the link and start calling us idiots. |

It would appear as if there has to be a referring URL for them to log your ID in the cookie.
edit: If you click the GFY link, it doesn't work. But other sites advertising them do appear in the cookie. Are you sure that link is correct? |

READ THE FUCKING BOARD! People have already posted that they tried their valid accounts and got the same result. Eat shit brown noser. |

It looks like their warning page is broken... If you send traffic to a tour page directly, everything works fine... And I did not find a linking code for a warning page, only for the tour pages in their webmaster area, so I guess you're just using wrong linking codes or what?
|
Quote:
Yeah, that appears to be the problem. The warning pages are reletively new for this program. Old links are still out there and they are not tracking the same as the tour pages. |
Been with EP for about 2 years now and the links I've always used (the supplied ones) go to the tour and not the warning page.. there's no problem with the proper links.
|
It seems to be the warning pages... anyone bring this to their attention yet?
|
Ive got to go with Tempest on this one - where did you get those linking codes - as I sure dont see them in the supplied link codes at Extreme? If you make up your own linking codes to a lot of programs it breaks the tracking system
|
Try to do a test join via your link code. That should give you the answer.
|
sigwhores posting without reading the thread piss me off more than any of the other idiocy on here.
|
Without even reading this whole threead I can already see the problem the link that you posted is a link that will send you or a surfer to the warning page which does not track affiliate codes the "NoAdvert" that you see in the ENTER HERE link is hard linked. this is what a correct link looks like http://easydrunkgirls.com/t1/pps=yourcodehere/tour1.htm . Any other questions feel free to contact me on Icq which can be found on our support page.
|
A better way would have been to post the problem and ask the possible causes.
Mentioning the "S" word in the title was unnecessary. |
